Michael Andrews, of Watson, died on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at his home at the age of 48. Michael Allen Andrews was born on April 21, 1963 at the Chippewa County - Montevideo Hospital in Montevideo to Allen and Yvonne ( Kolstad) Andrews. He was baptized on May 19, 1963 and also confirmed at Big Bend Lutheran Church. He graduated from Milan High School in 1981 as the Salutatorian of his class. He went on to further his education at St. Olaf College in Northfield , MN, where he earned a B.A. in 1985 in mathematics with a concentration in computer science. Michael was employed at United Health Care in Hopkins, MN for many years before returning to the Watson area about six years ago. He was a lifelong member of Big Bend Lutheran Church. He was very active in the MN Genealogy Society, especially documenting cemeteries, and enjoyed astronomy and computer science. He is survived by his parents, Allen and Yvonne Andrews; a sister, Michele; two nephews: Andrew and Dusten; numerous cousins and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and by a cousin, Noel Mitteness.
