Clemon Norris, age 76 of Erin, TN, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Houston County Community Hospital.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. J.T. Baggett officiating. Burial will follow in Coleman Tatum Cemetery.
The Norris family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday afternoon.
Clemon entered this life on June 15, 1939 in Houston County, TN, son to the late Irvin “Bill” and Christine Hughes Norris. Clemon graduated from Houston County High School and the very next day went to work for Southern Gage. After 45 years and serving as Plant Manager, Clemon retired. Clemon loved his family and friends, and had a passion for Rabbit Hunting, Farming, and Gardening.
In addition to his parents, Clemon was preceded in death by brother, Irvin Bailey Norris Jr; sister, Janice Parker; and grandson, Aaron Alsobrooks.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Willene Norris; daughters, Kimberley Norris, Alyson Middleton (Mark), Christy Gold (Doug); and sisters, Marylan Garrett, Dottie Hogan, and Rellon Adams. Clemon also leaves behind grandchildren, Timothy Clemon Alsobrooks, Madyson Middleton, Haylee Gold, Ethan Middleton, and Jack Gold.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bob Pulley, Paul Hogan, Randy Trainor, Craig Limburg, Terry Warren, Mike Abston, Randy Moore, Steve Harvey, and Justin Harvey.
