Former federal employee Virginia Harris, 92, died Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Paris Healthcare Center.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and from 9-9:30 a.m. Monday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

A rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Cross Catholic Church.

The Rev. Ed Fisher will officiate, with burial following at Birds Creek Cemetery.

Born July 16, 1917 in Almo, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Lake Erie and Grace Carter Harris.

She worked for 30 years for the Department of the Army as an administrative assistant at the Pentagon.

She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

She also was preceded in death by six brothers: V.G., V.C., R.A., Elroy, Glenn and Paul Eugene Harris.

She is survived by two brothers: William J. "Bill" Harris of Springboro, Ohio; and Robert H. "Bob" Harris of Orlando, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
