Leslie W. Lee Gay, 82, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at his home, Tuesday, Aug. 23. Mr. Gay was a graduate of Stoughton High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was the owner of Lees Custom Flooring and Tile for many years. He was an avid collector and restorer of cars, with a special interest in Mustangs. In his free time, he enjoyed studying his family geneology and traveling to the Cape, especially Centerville and Dennisport. Mr. Gay was in the process of writing a book. Mr. Gay is survived by his brothers, Robert L. Gay and his wife Theresa of Berkley and California and George L. Gay and his wife Nancy of Bridgewater. He was predeceased by his other siblings, Marie Lindsay Petrie, Mildred Baird, Edwin Buddy Gay and Marjorie Gay. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton, Saturday at 10 a.m. Visiting hours prior to services from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
