Jonathan Abercrombie Sr. and his wife Mary "Polly" Woods owned the land this Cemetery is located on. I found this Cemetery listed in a book "Laurens County Cemeteries" in the Laurens County Library. The names of those buried in the cemeteries was added by Mrs June Tucker. She was a prominent Laurens Historical Society Member and Genealogist long before most of us had such thoughts. She list the location and names of those buried there. The Johnson children buried inside the wall are the children of their daughter Clarinda. At the time of the writing, she also states there are seven graves outside the wall that are marked with large stones. It is unknown who may be buried in those graves but is believed to be some of Jonathan and Marys children and their spouses. This Cemetery is located on private property in Gray Court South Carolina.
