Cuero, Texas, February 23 - Miss Emma Lee Preston, eldest daughter of City Treasurer Robert Preston, died last night at 9:30 of typhoid pneumonia. She had only been sick about a week. She was one of the bright pupils of the John C. French high school and was just entering young womanhood. She will be buried this afternoon at 4 o'clock. A host of friends mourn with the parents.
