"Mrs. Ethel R. Blend"
Services for Mrs. Ethel R. Blend, 82, of Riverview Manor Convalescent and Nursing Home, 701 Riverview St., will be at 1 P. M. Saturday at Westover Funeral home, with burial in Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Blend died of arteriosclerosis Wednesday at the nursing home after a five-year illness.
A lifelong resident of Des Moines, she was a retired secretary and a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Westminster United Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a son, James F., of Des Moines, three grandchildren and a great grandchild.
