A memorial service for Frances E. Kennedy is set for Thursday, September 26 at 10:00 A.M. at the Yreka First So. Baptist Church. Rev. Dale Jenkins will officiate. Mrs. Kennedy passed away at Siskiyou General Hospital Sunday. She was 64 years old.
Mrs. Kennedy was born July 28, 1932 in Granby, Mo. To Harry L. and Dorris E. Crowe. She lived most of her life in Siskiyou County and graduated from Yreka High School. She married John Henry Kennedy in 1950.
Mrs. Kennedy is remembered for her dedication to her family. She, also, had a great love for traveling and camping, and spending time in her flower garden.
In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by three children, Monica Neimoyer of Yreka, Marina Mort of McCloud and Kelly Kennedy of Klamath Falls, Ore.; three brothers, Glen Crowe of Yreka, Lee Crowe of Palm Springs, and Jessie Crowe of Southbend, Wash.; and six grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Fibro Myalgia Syndrome Association, 6380 E. Tanque Verde Rd., Suite D, Tucson, Ariz. 85715; or to the American Heart Association, 609 Lane Street, Yreka, Ca. 95097.
