AN ASIDE: I had the privilege of meeting and interacting with Tinker when he served as a U.S. Senate Chamber Doorkeeper. His son-in-law was a good friend who was my roommate during our police training days. Tinker always had a smile and good word for all whom he meet. Rest in Peace, Tinker.
