She was born September 3, 1926 in Spring Valley, Arkansas to Theodore "Theo" William Johnson and Alice Sue (Cook) Johnson. Theola was a Fayetteville High School graduate from the class of 1946. She also graduated from Fayetteville Business College.
She moved to Tulsa Oklahoma in 1956 working for Floral Havens Cemetery as Office Administrator / accountant for 10 years. She retired from Byron Jackson Pumps and first woman to work in their accounting department. Theola was the first woman to retire with 25 years of service at Byron Jackson Pumps.
She is survived by one sister; Marjorie Jean Johnson of Broken Arrow, OK, five cousins, Jim Parsley and wife Laurie of Columbus, Nebraska, Linda Williams and husband Ivan and Ron Parsley and wife Barbara all of Springdale, Deborah Houston and husband Ken of Kansas City, MO and Bill Fitch of Pea Ridge.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Ron Parsley officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
