Ardith Lee Freeman, 81, of North Little Rock met her husband, Walter S at the gates of Heaven on Saturday, October 31st and entered into eternity.
She was born on June 21st, 1928 to the late Everett and Eva Skelton in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Ardith believed deeply in God and was a faithful member of Baring Cross Baptist Church for many years. She was very creative and loved cooking, sewing and ceramics. She cherished spending time outside with her family at the beach and enjoyed fishing with Walter. She defined the word homemaker and spent her life working to make her home a haven for her family. She treasured the time she spent as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. After over 50 years of marriage here on earth, Walter and Ardith are now walking the streets of Heaven hand in hand.
She is survived by her children Linda (Bill) Tackett of Atlanta, Ga; Mark (Susan) Freeman of Little Rock and Stan Freeman of Atlanta; her grandchildren Brandon McNully, Kristen McNully, Lauren McNully, Cassie Solomon, Stacy Kinzler, Allison Davis, Stephanie Freeman and Andrew Freeman; her great grandchildren Jake Solomon and Mabry Kinzler and host of extended family and friends, all who will miss her dearly.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
