Jack L. Behl, 73, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, died Saturday, July 21, 2001, at his home. He was born June 29, 1928, at Joplin, MO, the son of Aaron Martin and Fern Frances Runnels Behl.

He was the former co-owner of Fayetteville Motor Exchange for 44 years and he resided on a farm in Prairie Grove for 38 years. He was a Baptist.

He is survived by his wife, Winona Behl, of 52 years of the home; two sons, Randy L. and his daughter, Lauren Behl of Prairie Grove and David G. and his wife, Connie D. Behl and their children, Amber and Morgan Behl of Prairie Grove; one daughter, Ellen C. and her husband Bruce R. Savitt and their children, Brandon and Emily Savitt of Glenn Heights, Texas; one brother, Aaron "Bud" and his wife Joyce Behl of Fayetteville; one sister, Beverly and her husband David Reed of San Diego, California.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Washington Regional Medical Center Hospice, 34 W. Colt Square, Suite 1, Fayetteville, 72703.
