His family came to live at Pendleton in the early 1950's as his father worked for General Motors Guide Lamp Division in Anderson. Daniel was born at the Anderson Hospital on August 8, 1957 and grew up in Pendleton. He and all his brothers and sister went to Pendleton Schools.
He was employed as an Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Technician at Jett Pro Corporation in Indianapolis.
Dan was a loving and caring person. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Roy E. Burkholder and Zena R. Hiatt-Burkholder; three brothers, Keith Joel, David Lewis, and Roy Frederick Burkholder; two step-brothers, Leonard Rex and Kenneth Wayne Hiatt.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Jean (Whipple) Burkholder; and sister, Kathy Jill.
Burial will be in Grave Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton, Indiana.
