A Mass of Christian Burial will for Zeferina Amaya, 100, of Dixon will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's Catholic Church.
Father Maurice O'Brien will preside. Interment will follow in Silveyville Cemetery in Dixon.
Mrs. Amaya died Dec. 29, 2002, in Dixon.
Born Aug. 26, 1902, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, she resided in Dixon for 30 years. She worked in the agriculture fields for 55 years. She was a member of the Guadalupe Society-Cursillo Movement. She loved to garden and crochet and enjoyed reading religious literature.
Mrs. Amaya is survived by her sons, Severia of Fairfield, Juan of El Centro, Juan N. of Salt Lake City, Utah, Pablo of Dixon; daughter, Sylvia of LaGrande, Oregon; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.
