Mr. Armijo is survived by his one son, Joe O. Armijo and wife, Mary Lou; grandchildren, Darlene Stapleton, Dorothy McCoy, Dianna Willis, J.D. Armijo, Martin Armijo, Roberta Carroll, Laura Juarez, Susan Bostic, Anita Garcia, Vickie Cordova, Rose Anne Gallegos, Christy Porter, John Marshall Armijo and Mike Armijo; thirty three great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren; two granddaughters-in-law, Eleanor and Renee.
Mr. Armijo was preceded in death by his wife, Celia and a son, Marshall L. Armijo. Mr. Armijo was a member of the Catholic Church, he was a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus council # 641, he retired from the City of Albuquerque, was a city tax auditor and State Liquor Director under Governor Jack Campbell.
