Our little angel was called to the Lord on Friday, March 10, 2012. He was born August 17, 2011 in East Chicago, IN.
Keagan Fishel laughed and smiled throughout his 7 months of life, bringing joy and happiness to everyone he touched. Keagan enjoyed wiggling his tongue and sucking his toes. He will be remembered as a little hero who donated his organs that saved the lives of four other children.
Keagan is survived by his parents: Sasha C. Sabates of Hobart and Dan Fishel of Lake Station; brother, Riley Sabates-Owen of Hobart; maternal grandparents: Robert "Chris" and April Sabates of Hobart; paternal grandparents: Tim (Ellen) Fishel, and Wendy (Randy) Hoaks; numerous aunts, uncles, and many loving family members and friends.
Funeral services for Keagan will be Friday, March 16, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2012 also at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
