Jennie Cremer, age 96, of West Frankfort died April 17, 2007 at 2:40 p.m. at the Parkview Care Center in West Frankfort, Sh was born June 30, 1907 in Eden, Ill. to Adam S. and Elizabeth (Henderson) Murray. She married Jesse Cremer on November 27, 1927 in West Frankfort and he preceded her in death on November 27, 1986.
She is survived by two sons, Dr. Bennett Cremer of West Frankfort and Dr. Michael Cremer and wife Patti of Germantown, Tenn. and a granddaughter Jennifer Cremer of Memphis Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband and by five sisters, Virginia Herrell, Lillian Murray, Minnie Sinks, Blanche McCrary and Mabel Bearden.
Mrs. Cremer was a member of the First Baptist Church in West Frankfortand had formerly worked at the Daily American Newspaper as a proof reader.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort with Rev. Bill Fox officiating Burial will be in the Tower Heights Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday to the Parker-Reedy Funeral Home.
