Skippy was our family member who loved unconditionally. She came into the life of my father at a time when he needed a friend. She loved and stayed by his side for the last few years of his life. Then she helped my mother deal with the loss of my father. When my mother passed she came to live with us and helped us deal with their loss. Thank you Skippy you were such a good sister.

Skippy was a Jack Russell Terrier who loved all in her life. She loved trips to the beach & playing ball. One of her favorite activities later in life was digging holes with my dog her best friend Hans. My Mother had always discouraged her from digging, but when she came to live with us on our farm there was plenty of room to dig. She stayed a playful dog her whole life, always paying attention to what was going on around her. Nothing got by her, if you picked up your keys she would beat you to the door. She would listen to what you were saying, if she over heard us saying someone was coming for a visit she would lay in the window just watching for them. She loved the barn cats and could often be found sunning herself with them. By the time she crossed over she had lost all the color in her hair and was all white, The last week of her life she did not eat much & slept a lot. I took her to the vet & he put her on special food, but told me to prepare myself as she was just getting old (how can anyone prepare themselves for the loss of a loved one). She past away in her sleep with her buddy Hans next to her. I am sure my parents where glad to see her come home.

Skippy was cremated & her ashes were spread over our parents graves.
