Andy Blevins, alias Andy Cooper, was a participant in the Pleasant Valley War, a range war in Arizona Territory between the Graham and Tewksbury factions. He was shot and killed by Sheriff C.P. Owens, who was attempting to arrest him. Sheriff Owens was fired upon by the occupants of the Blevins house and, in the space of a few seconds, he killed Andy, his brother Sam and Mose Roberts.
