Sam Houston Blevins was the 15 year old brother of Andy Blevins, alias Andy Cooper, who was a participant in the Pleasant Valley War, a range war in Arizona Territory. He was shot and killed along with his brother Andy and Mose Roberts by Sheriff C.P. Owens, who was attempting to arrest Andy Cooper. All three men are buried in Holbrook.
