my grand daughter

aged 196 days 6 hours and 25 minutes
to honor her life, we released 200 purple balloons from the cemetery... watch for them to land and think of her.
born Wednesday 29 April at 10:57am 16 inches and weighing 4lbs 12oz
died Wednesday 11 November at 5:22pm
Christian dedication ceremony performed 11 November at 2pm

I call her Xandria but she is best known as Baby Purple
she blessed our lives with her beauty and her charm for over 6 months, despite her diagnosis of Trisomy 16 which is most often "incompatible with life". Told by Doctors that she is the only person in the world to have lived more than one day with this rare syndrome. There is a long list of complications the went along with her trisomy, as you can see by her smile she is a happy, very loved, little girl. Always a pleasant disposition and never fussy. She smiled and cooed and loved everyone. Her most recent achievement was rolling over. Though she was never properly introduced to solid foods, she loved when Pappy fed her twizzlers.
The Drs and Nurses at the hospital did everything they could for her.

~~I will miss you while you are sleeping~~
