Little 5 year old Sophie Sparks lost her courageous battle against cancer.
Sophie Dale Sparks was granted her angel wings on July 10, 2011. Her final days were spent surrounded by friends that Sophie had touched in some small way, throughout her short, yet very memorable life. With Sophie's passing, we remind others that her life is one to be celebrated although we will miss her everyday, especially her winning smile, she will always remain forever in our hearts. Through her teachings about life, we were able to create wonderful memories.
Sophie is survived by her loving parents, Stephen Sparks and Kasey Sparks of La Vernia; brother, Jacob Sparks. She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Adele Dipple; maternal grandfather, Guy Thomas, uncle, Tobin Thomas of Eagle Lake, and uncle, James Ross of Bigfoot.
