When asked if he was satisfied with God's will no matter what, he responded: "Sure, whatever God wants". All he asked above this was permission to die in the habit. Despite a temporary improvement, Felician succumbed to this disease five months later on January 27, 1936, aged only 18, and was buried clad in his Capuchin habit.
