Roy Buettgenbach
Smith Center - Roy Kirk Buettgenbach, 77, Smith Center, died Monday, May 27, at the Smith County Memorial Hospital, Smith Center.
Mr. Buettgenbach was born Sept. 12, 1907, in Martell, Neb. He was a retired railroad maintenance foreman.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie of the home; three sons, J.J. of Lebanon, Solomon of Pratt and Roy Gene of Hays; two brothers, Clyde and Jess, both of Lincoln, Neb.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 pm. Thursday at Simmons Chapel, Smith Center, the Rev. Terry McGuire officiating. Burial will be at Sweet Hone Cemetery, Lebanon.
Friends may call until service time at Simmons Mortuary, Smith Center.
