Tuesday, December 10, 1991

S. EMMETT BAUGHMAN, 72, of 4020 81st St., Urbandale, died of cancer Monday at Des Moines General Hospital. Services will be at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday at Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery.

Mr. Baughman was born in Chariton and lived in the Des Moines area 48 years, retiring as a salesman for Mrs. Clark's Foods. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Urbandale American Legion post and Disabled American Veterans.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine; two daughters, Carla Clark of Urbandale and Sandra Cross of Floral City, Fla.; a sister, Donna Williams of Gold Hill, Ore.; and five grandchilren.

Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m., today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
