Born in Durham, N.H., he moved to Central Florida in 1921. A member of Christ Community Church, Goldenrod Road, he also belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4287, Hearts Start, Old Timers Athletic League and the Orange County Oldtimers Association.
