My brother-in-law, Albert Rodriguez, age 81, passed away at V. A. Hospital in Fresno, CA. He was a retired housekeeper at Childrens' Hospital of Central California and had served in the U.S. Navy during both WW2 and the Korean conflict; suffering wounds on several occasions.

Albert, oldest of 15 children, is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Cathy (Westrick) Rodriguez, and a large, extended family; with whom he had strong family ties. He is also survived by Mother-in-law, Arvada Westrick; Sisters-in-law, Shirley (Westrick) Mumper, and Barbara Westrick; and Brothers-in-law, David and Phillip Westrick.

A viewing and Rosary was conducted at Palm Colonial Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted on July 23, 2007, at Saint John's Cathedral, in Fresno. Pallbearers: Albert Rodrigues III, Phillip Gamez, Alfonso Gamez, Sean Calles, Fernando Rodriguez, and Tomas Federico. Burial at Fresno Memorial Gardens with military Honors.

Cause of Death: Respiratory Failure.
