Master Sergeant Losiewski was on continuous active duty from May 1943 through June 1963. Areas of assignment were: Fort Custer, Michigan; Camp McCoy, Wisconsin; Fort Sam Houston, Texas; Hawaii; Westover Air Force Base in Massachusetts; Grenier Field in Manchester, New Hampshire; Saudi Arabia, and France. Duty assignments, both in the Army and Air Force were in the Law Enforcement Branch during his entire service career. He retired as Master Sergeant, Corrections Supervisor, Air Police Section, 507 Air Police Squadron, Kincheloe Air Force Base, Michigan effective 30 June 1963.

Casey is locally known as the founder of Casey's Shooters Supplies in Gassville. In Manchester, New Hampshire Casey founded Casey's Custom Gun Shop. Later in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Casey founded Casey's Auto Electric, Inc. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, the Varmint Hunters Association, and the National Rifle Association.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, 02/21/2008 at 1:00 PM. The service, including Military Funeral Honors, will be officiated by Alley White American Legion Post #52.
Casey is survived by his wife Katherine L. Losiewski, 1 son Thomas Losiewski and wife, Mary of Kalamazoo, Michigan; 2 daughters: Mary Salisbury of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Ruth Reisterer and husband Matt of Wasilla, Alaska; 1 brother: Zigmund Losiewski of Plainwell, Michigan, 1 sister, Adeline Skinner of Mendon, Michigan and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters: Anna Perry and Julia Fitch. Private interment will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan. Memorial Contributions may be made to Alley White American Legion Post #52.
