Elizabeth was born on 30 Aug 1868 in Detroit, Michigan. She was fifth of nine children of Peter and Anna Müller Gier. She married George M. Westrick on 02 May 1894 in Detroit, Michigan. The Westrick family moved to San Leandro, California from Detroit, Michigan about 1922.
