Edith Begley 88, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN.
Mrs. Begley was born in Perry Co., KY on February 2, 1923, the daughter of the late Jasper and Lizzie (Collins) Mullins.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Daniel Boone Begley; son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Lana Begley; daughter Liz Baker. and sister Elsie Bowling.
Survivors include daughters, Nina Begley, of Nicholasville, KY and Sara Jayne Jones of Sellersburg, IN; grandchildren, Bill Jones (Janice), Trevor Jones (Kari), Travis Jones (Angie), Jaymie Begley, Chip Begley (John Burchett), Joey Begley (Teresa), Eddie Baker (Laura) and Dale Baker (Jill); and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin, with Bill Jones officiating. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. Sunday at Buchanan Funeral Home
