ERIC E BOCK of Kissimmee FL died at home. Eric was born in Schrow, Germany the son of the late Richard and Martha (Hueckstaedt) Bock. He immigrated to the United States in 1952 and proudly served in the U.S. Army. Eric retired from the Sheraton Vistana Resorts after serving 33 years as Chief Maintenance Engineer. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Carole (Maxwell) Bock; children, Richard (Mary L) Bock of Robertsdale, AL and Cheryl (Jeff) Barton of Saint Cloud, FL; grandchildren, Billy Barton and Heather Bock and sister, Hertha (Horst) Lesser of Grand Rapids, MI. He was very active in Elks Lodge #1873 Kissimmee, FL and the German American Club of Osceola County. A memorial service will be conducted on January 7, 2012 at the Church of St. Luke and St. Peter in Saint Cloud with Fr. Andrew Faust officiating. Interment will follow in the Memory Garden of the Church. Arrangements under the direction of Oscoela Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Kissimmee. Published in the Orlando Sentinel on December 31, 2011
