Ahmed Fazli Temizer was father of my maternal grandmother Nedret Ataman. He born in Istanbul, Turkey and was the son of Fazli and Havva Temizer. Ahmed married first to Havva Makbule Besen at Istanbul, Turkey. They had two daughters: Vuslet Suzan and Nedret. Havva died when the children were very young. Ahmed married next to a woman from Greece, Elena, with whom he had another daughter: Neven. Ahmet was a factory textile expert. He learned about producing prosthetic devices during WWI, studying artificial limbs in Vienna, Austria. Ahmet was a private in the Turkish Army. He also traveled to Moscow in 1934 to study textiles. Ahmet died when he left the gas on in his apartment. His second wife, Elena, preceded him in death.
