Son of Thomas J. and Amanda (Thomas) Bradstreet and a descendant of the early colonial governors, Simon Bradstreet and Thomas Dudley.
Graduate of Thomaston Academy and Yale College. He studied medicine at Columbia University. and graduated in 1877. He practiced medicine in Meriden, Connecticut for many years, and was active in civic and social affairs there. He helped establish Meriden Hospital 1892.
Cremated.

[Cause of Death: Broncho-pneumonia. Cremated (Crem. #2652) at Springfield Cemetery, MA (Bur'l #1750) on 29 Mar 1931; ashes enclosed in a copper urn and delivered to J. J. Smith, Inc., Meriden, CT.]
