NEWPORT - MAJOR WILLIAM BODEN-Ex-City Attorney and a veteran officer in the late war, died at his residence in this city yesterday at noon. Major Boden resided in Newport for nearly thirty years and was much beloved by our citizens and by his numerous brethren of several benevolent societies.
There will be a meeting of the Bar and officers of the Courts at the Court house this morning at eleven o'clock to express their sympathies on the death of their fellow citizen and member.
