Jim was preceded in death by brothers, John, Fred and Robert.
He was a 20 year Air Force Veteran and served 20 years with the U.S. Capitol Police Department as a plain clothes detective with the Dignitary Protection Division.
Jim is survived by Regina, his loving wife of 50 years, stepsons, Art and Jeff, sister, Evelyn (J.C.), sister-in-law, Mary, brother-in-law, Wolfgang Jans in Bamberg, Germany, step-grandchildren, Nicole, Jeffery, Joshua and Justin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation by National Cremation Society.
