Son of Irene Alarie and Louis P. Bolduc Sr. He graduated High School in 1951 and joined the U.S. Air Force. He honorably served in the military as a court recorder and retired with the rank of Technical Sergeant. Louis then went on to serve his country as a U.S. Capitol Police officer for the next 20 years.

His obituary provides that he was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Ursula. Surviving were siblings Jerard Bolduc and wife Pat; Madeleine Bolduc; Michael Bolduc and wife Loyce, and Dennis Bolduc.

A gathering was held at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church Upper Marlboro, MD, on January 15, 2014, until Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Interment followed at Maryland Veteran's Cemetery
