Carolyn was born in Seminole, Oklahoma to Clovis and Lora (Fisher) Carter. She married Jack Pearson and they had two daughters and a son. Carolyn died of cancer at Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at the age of 52. Her memorial service was held at Weer Church of God of Prophecy on August 18th, Rev. Carl Thompson and Rev. Gerald Byrd officiating.
