Odus Gordon Raymer, 92, was called Home to the opened arms of Jesus on March 5th, 2013 at 3:15pm.
His daughter, Wendy Rose, was by his side holding his hands while he peacefully passed away.
He had been hospitalized with pneumonia a few days prior.
Odus was born in Denver, Indiana on April 22, 1920 to Alfred and Phebe {Butt} Raymer.
He was married to Isabelle Louise Dowdy on June 18, 1939, in Logansport, Indiana at the Pilgrim Holiness Church.
They had 3 children, Gilbert {1940}, Nola, {1942}, Wendy{Wilda}Rose, {1952}
Odus retired in 1982 as a machinist for Logansport Machine Co. in Logansport, Indiana.
He was an IAM member and an antique car collector. He was also a member of the Heartland Cruisers in Logansport and a DMAC member. {Durant Motor Auto Club}
He faithfully attended the Riverview Wesleyan Church in Logansport, IN for many years.
He had many friends in Logansport where he had a woodworking shop making furniture and repairs until he was forced to retire at 88 due to declining health.
He regularly attended Cedar Ridge Christian Church in Broken Arrow, OK after coming to live with his daughter and son-in-law in 2009.

Those who preceded him in death were his parents, his son, Gilbert Dwight, died in 1943. His wife, Isabelle died in 2003. He had 7 brothers and sisters {which included 2 step-siblings}that had pass away before him. Odus has one living sister, Cleora Gunion of Knox, Indiana formerly of Thornhope, IN.

He leaves behind two daughters, Nola Annette{Don}Stover and Wendy (Rod) Rose Raymer Alvarez. Grandchildren; Mabel Evangeline, Victoria Rose, Gordon Dean, Debra Lynn, Lyla Louise; Great-Grandchildren; Megan, Carrie, April, Amber, Eric, Roman, Brian, Brett; Great-Great Grandchilden; Audrey, Dylan, Destiny, Felicity, Makayla, Nyomie, and twins, {deceased}
Wendy{Wilda} Rose{Rod}Alvarez , Grandchildren; Amy Yvonne, Michelle Renee, Antonio Miguel, and Christopher Sean-Paul , and Great Grandchildren; Corey, Kiara, Kilah and Anna Heinhorn.
