Inaki Xabier Lasa passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at the age of 16. He was born Nov. 30, 1993 in San Christobal, Venezuela. He was survived by his parents, Inaki and Delsy, his sister, Arantxa, and his brother, Gaizka. Inaki was a tremendous soccer player, having played for 11 years. He also had a passion for playing the piano, and had played since he was 7. Inaki loved music and listened to all different kinds. Anyone who knew him knew he was a very giving and ambitious young man. He had many dreams. Among them was being the next billionaire or the next Donald Trump, and he saved every penny he could. He believed that if you saved every penny in your lifetime you would someday be rich and he certainly lived by that.

Inaki had dreams to travel to places such as Africa, China, and Tibet. He wanted to marry a Chinese woman. Inaki also wanted to learn other languages and was always working toward his goals. Jeans were seldom in his wardrobe, and even in the winter you would always catch him wearing shorts. He loved to be different and stand out. He always aspired to be the president of Venezuela. Inaki wanted to own a skyscraper, design an airplane and a car, and eat a habanero pepper and astronaut food.

Inaki had so much love and passion for so many things and all who loved him believed he could accomplish all of his dreams, including his biggest ones.
