Obituary-Ralph W. Moford

Ralph W. Morford, 75, Emmett, died late Wednesday, January 18, 1989, at Onaga Community Hospital.

He was born February 5, 1913, at Soldier, the son of Ross W. and Margaret E. Suter Morford, and was graduated from Soldier High School. He had lived in the Emmett area since 1949.

Mr. Morford worked in the Banbury area of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., in Topeka until he retired in 1969.

He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Emmett.

He was married to Anna M. DeVader September 2, 1935, in Holy Cross Catholic Church at Emmett.
She survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Joanne Ward, Tahlequah, Okla.; and Jeannie Moylan, Emmett; a son, Don Morford, Holton; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Morford donated his eyes to an eye bank.

Mass of Christian burial was at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 21, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Emmett. Burial was in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery at Emmett.
