OAKLEY -- Derrel Eugene Hutton, 66, Died Saturday, March 13, 2004
Mr. Hutton was born November 28, 1937, in Yuma, Colorado. He was an argonomist with the USDA Soil Conservation Division and also worked at theBertrand Elevator Company and was a correction officer with the Kansas State Department of Corrections.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley May, of Oakley; two sons, Don, of Chandler, Arizona and Dan, of Scott City; a daughter, Shelley Eberle of Hoxie; a sister, Mary Ann Furtney, of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be on Tuesday at the Oakley United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Oakley Cemetery, with military graveside rites by Fort Riley.
Memorials may be made to the Logan County Hospital.
