Funeral Services will be held tomorrow for Mayme Leona Sweany
who died Tuesday at her home at 7 Tucker Lane following a five
year illness. She lived at Tuscumbia from 1937 until 1956 where she operated a cafeteria. She has lived in Fulton since 1956. Her husband Andrew James Sweany died in 1953. Mrs. Sweany was a member of the Boydsville Christian Church.
She is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Lucy M. Atkins, who made her home with Mrs. Sweany, Mrs. Minnie Oliver of Fulton, Mrs. Mildred Scott of the state of Florida, two brothers, Wilber Vaughn of route 5 and John M. Vaughn of Columbia, one sister and three brothers preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 3:30 pm Thursday at the Browning Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Bailey officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City, Missouri.
