Funeral services were held for Mrs. Julia Maude Vaughn at
2 p.m. Monday at Browning Funeral home. Mrs. Vaughn died
Friday at Kingdom Nursing home where she had been a resident
for the past year and a half.She was born July 12, 1892 in Callaway county, the daughter of Thomas A. and Fannie Rosson Kemp. She was a member of Central Christian Church.
She is survived by four sons: Derwood, Dean, Doyle and Dale,
three daughters, Mrs. Frances (Margaret) Gowin, Mrs. Roscoe
(Mossie) Payne, Mrs. John (Mary) Branch, all of Fulton, one
sister, Mrs. Sallie Griggs of Fulton, one brother, Robert Kemp
of Columbia, fifteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her husband, William B.
Vaughn and one grandson, James Bradley Vaughn.
The Rev. Ralph Galbraith officiated at the services and burial
was at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Glen Rent-
schler, Bob Vandeloecht, Lawrence Forsee, Jr. Newman, Kenneth
Means and Glen Sneed.
