She was born July 10, 1941 to Frances Lynn Nuzman and LaVeryl Smith in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Mary Jo excelled at accounting and later chose to teach small children in the Community Action Program (Headstart).
She married Nolen Wayne Moss on November 25, 1977; they were later sealed in the LDS Temple on March 16, 2000.
She is survived by one sister, two brothers, three sons, three step-sons, nineteen grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, one brother, one step-daughter, and one grandchild. She will be loved and missed by many.
Funeral Services for Mary Jo will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. in the Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
