Carrie Luedke, 102, of Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Springfield and Chatham, died at 12:20 p.m. Sunday at Scottsdale Hospital. She was born Sept. 30, 1886, in Ball Township, the daughter of Emil and Minnie Krueger Wallner. Preceding her in death were her husband, Bert Luedke, in 1947; six sisters, Magdalene Lehenbauer, Frances Soderstrom, Emma Wallner, Esther Ladage, Martha Ranken and Ruth Wallner; a brother, John Wallner.
Surviving are one son, Walter G. Luedke of Chatham; two daughters, Gertrude Steffen of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Esther Ratz of Hilltop Lakes, Texas; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Alma Steffen of Chatham; several nieces and nephews.
Services at St. John's Lutheran Church in Chatham, with the Rev. Glenn Strohschein officiating. Burial in Chatham Community Cemetery.
