Mabel J. Highmore, 103, of Springfield died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006, at Garden View Care Center in Valley Park, Mo. She was born July 1, 1903, in Chicago, the daughter of Henry L. and Clara M. Johnson Knott. She married John S. Highmore in 1929 in Chicago; he died in 1978.
Mrs. Highmore was a member of West Side Christian Church and Flower City Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star 158.
There are no survivors.
Services: Wilson Park Funeral Home, Rochester, the Rev. Charles L. Lee officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
