Mrs. Lizzie Ella Reynolds, widow of Silas D. Reynolds, passed away February 13, 1946, at her home in South Unity, where she has resided for the past 20 years. She was born in Caribou, January 17, 1864, the daughter of Thomas and Nancy (Dow) Walton.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Daisy Thompson of East Millinocket, Mrs. Annie V. Hamlin of Gardiner and Miss Ferne E. Reynolds of Unity; six sons, Maurice D., Philip D. , William W., Thomas A. and Merton N. all of Unity, and Earle C. of South Portland; seventeen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the South Unity Community Church formerly called the Friends Church. Burial was in the South Unity Quaker Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Walter Towle of Unity officiating. Bearers were Miles Walton, Thomas Hemphill, Gaunce Hunter and Leo Pushor.
