Unity – Nov. 16 1952 – Mrs. Hattie A Walton, 79, died Sunday afternoon, November 16, 1952, at the Central Maine General Hospital in Lewiston after a long illness. She was born in Northfield, New Brunswick, Canada, February 19, 1873, daughter of Edward and Isabelle (Welton) Trumbell.
She was educated in schools in Northfield and Caribou. She was married in 1890 to William Walton, who died in 1936. In 1937, she married Daniel Frank Walton of Unity who died in 1942. In 1951, Mrs. Walton moved to Turner to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Charles Frizzle.
She is survived by one son, Edward L. Walton of Lebanon, Oregon; four daughters, Mrs. Janet Stoddard of Westminster, MD, Mrs. Arminta Frizzle of Turner, Mrs. Madeline Murch of Mountain View, MD and Mrs. Olive Reynolds of Unity; 20 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be announced.
