Funeral Services were held at 2 pm Tuesday at Laite Funeral Home, Camden, with the Rev. Walter Howell officiating for Amos B. Erskine, 80, of Camden who died Saturday, Sept. 1, 1984, at his home. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery.

He was the husband of Elizabeth King Erskine. Born in Easton September 10, 1903, he was a son of James and Annie (Bangs) Erskine.

Amos lived in Camden most of his life and was a fireman and boiler man at local mills. He worked at Seabright Mill for 28 years. He was a member of Camden Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife of Camden; two sons, Albert of Warren and Ernest of Searsmont; three daughters, Margaret Ames of Searsmont, Annie Holcomb of Roby, TX, and Gloria Prentiss of Sidney; two sisters, Gladys Lamb and Eva Coffey both of St. Petersburg, FL; 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
