He was born February 16, 1915, in Reedpoint, Mont., the son of Daniel F. and Anna (Wirak) Jones. He married Lola Mae Callantine August 25, 1946, in Livingston.
Jones came to Bozeman in 1923 from Reedpoint. He attended schools in Bozeman and was a meat cutter in Bozeman for 45 years. He retired in 1968.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Ron (Denise) Frank, Bozeman; a son, Daryl "Buzz" Jones, Bozeman; four grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Anna Jones; two sisters, Edna Brooks and Mrs. Hazel Brelsford, both of Bozeman and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, two sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel with burial in Morgan Cemetery.
